the vow …

A Mother's Day contemplation

You have a role to play

You were Created to fulfill a Purpose

But it gets confused in the pseudo reality of your perceptions

In the separated mind – a place of make-believe

Wouldn’t it be devastating to face that you’ve been living a lie?

Living in a world where a separate, analytic, human, egoic mind createdTruth”?

Can you tap into your intuition on this one?

What CREATED you?

Is the CREATOR, CREATION, CREATING occurring simultaneously while appearing separate in time?

If you don’t know, then how can you claim anything else as True?

If the CREATOR is ONE inexorable, ubiquitous Mind (GOD)

Then that’s the Only (Source) in which Knowledge Exists

Could it be that simple, could it be that unfathomable?

Why would you make a decision to fulfill a human LIFETIME in a body ignorant of Purpose?

Are you willing to LOOK OUTSIDE your separated mind?

Are you yearning to LOOK INSIDE your heart’s One Mind?

Could a momentary glimpse allow you to SEE THROUGH time’s illusion

and the make-believe ideas we humans have created?

Can you STOP making conclusions because you call it science?

There is not a scientist on earth who KNOWS what LIFE IS.

How can he/she speak True Knowledge?

Why would you place your Trust in that?

Are you a player in this charade without PURPOSE?

Without Meaning?

Can you accept NOT knowing?

Can you TRUST the VOW that INFINITELY connects you to CREATION?

Are you willing to INQUIRE and CONTEMPLATE on these questions …

“Where do I place my attention in each moment?”

“How am I fulfilling the never-ending VOW to CREATION’S PURPOSE?”

Mystery of God

Think for yourself.

Did we forget how to do that?

Question everything.

Look inward for the answers.

Stop TRUSTING the assumptions of “experts”

YOU are the only one who “knows” the truth.

TRUTH buried under eons of indoctrination and lies

But IT is THERE

Your breath – the blood in your veins – your spirit – your purpose

YOU – a Mystery – God’s Creation

Finding ONE CORRECT ANSWER to any of Life’s happenings

Is simply a human egoic desire

There is not one correct answer

LIFE IS ….

INFINITELY UNFOLDING MIRACULOUS POTENTIALITY

What is Creation?

Reflecting on one of the many dharma talks of Ma Bhaskarananda (aka Ma Ba) of Ananda ashram, in Harriman, New York, she posed the questions, “Who is your mother, who is your father?” and I’m paraphrasing the rest ….

And “What did your mother really do, aside from birthing your body?”

“Even if we think the Sun is our Creator, aren’t there infinite Suns, Universes, galaxies?”

I studied the idea of “Creation” for years in A Course in Miracles, but I continue to search for the appropriate (symbolism) that feels like a better pointer to the meaning of Creation.

After all, it’s really all symbolism/mythology; our earthly perceptions, our earthly languages, our earthly concepts about everything.  But we haven’t sufficiently learned to read the maps yet.

But this season of “holidays” I’m contemplating again ‘what is Creation?’

Creator/ Creation/ Creating …….  All infinitely intertwined

….. Extending Itself beyond time’s comprehension.

Our ‘creations’ – like (God’s creations) are not of this world.

It’s beyond this earth world and could never be “known” here in earthly form, only symbolically represented. As our actions represent our thoughts.

So….. what did your mother/father really do?

Symbolically, they extended Love, as in the True Creation, by “giving birth” to a child.

Your real mother/father is the INFINITELY EXTENDING ‘thought of God’ which we symbolically play out as bodies on earth plane (symbolically creating others like ourselves) But these “bodies” could never be Creation Itself.

Some of the earth language ‘words’ that really resonate for me are written in an excerpt from:             Commentary on What Is Creation?, By Allen Watson:

“Creation is the sum of all God’s Thoughts, in number infinite, and everywhere without all limit. Only Love creates, and only like Itself. There was no time when all that It created was not there. Nor will there be a time when anything that it created suffers any loss. Forever and forever are God’s Thoughts exactly as they were and as they are, unchanged through time and after time is done.” W-pII.11.1:1-5

“We have a fundamental misconception that makes it difficult for us to understand what creations are. For instance, we think God created this world. When we think of creation, therefore, we think of something physical and material. We think our creations must be something in this world. Yet the Course clearly tells us this entire world is an illusion, a miscreation of our mind. How could our creations be here?

My creations, then, cannot be something like a book I write, a relationship I form, a family, or a business. My creations are not objects at all. They must be thoughts.”

“Creation is the sum of all God’s Thoughts, in number infinite, and everywhere without all limit.” (1:1)
